The Aquastar Regate Ref. Z28A is the first Regatta Yachttimer wrist watch with the 5-dot minutes countdown.
The present example is a very well preserved stainless steel case and very nicely preserved dial. It houses the modified Caliber Felsa 4000N patented in 1961 by JeanRichard with the Regate Module. This rarest dial variation ("Star" at 12 o'clock) features a 60 seconds scale and the 5-dot countdown, useful complication for those who want experience sport sailing as its best. The crown set the time at 2 o’clock and one pusher at 4 o’clock starts the 5 minutes dot countdown.
