The present timepiece features black dial and luminous hands and arabical indexes, specifically wanted by the Hungarian Air Force after WWII to enhance the legibility in all pilot's conditions. Despite the passage of time, this 70 years old watch is in great condition. The original GILT black dial is left untouched and still features the "Angelus” Logo, Tachimeter scale and the outer minute scale.
The wristwatch houses the famous caliber Angelus 215, a legend movement from the late 1930s. The stainless steel case is preserved in very attractive condition and the Radium dial aged with time and developed an incredibly eye catching patina, providing the watch unique character. The watch comes with a stainless steel "beads of rice" bracelet, matching perfectly the soul of this Military Chronograph.
The present wristwatch has been serviced by a professional watchmaker in October 2021 guaranteeing 1 year warranty.
The present chronograph embodies many of the desirable features which collectors are searching for.
