The present Lemania HS9 is a milestone of the Military Assigned Chronographs and offers an exquisite opportunity for watch collectors to acquire a piece of excellence and history.

The HS/|\9 on the caseback stays for "Hydrographic Service" and the "9" indicating it is a chronograph.
The Lemania 15 CHT movement is fitted with a self-compensating Breguet hairspring, column-wheel chronograph mechanism and 17 jewels.
The Monopusher (the single button at 2 o’clock), operates the chronograph. There is an elapsed minute counter at 3 o’clock, which allows for timing up to 30 minutes.
The Hands may have been replaced after the awareness of danger of radium, that became clear after the war.
The steel case is in excellent condition.
