1940s Zais Watch Triple Register Chronograph

Zais Watch was one of the brands registered for G.Leon Breitling SA and between the two World Wars many Zais Watch chronographs were assigned to military forces.

This example is without a doubt one of the most attractive Zais Watch chronographs on the market. The presence of the three registers on the dial further elevates the collectability of this watch; it houses the caliber Landeron 42, the last column wheel movement produced in the golden Landeron era, featuring “12” chronograph hours register, 18000 Bph and 17 jewels.

Another layer of interest is given by the unique and intriguing patina on the dial. Kept in the same collection for the most part of the last decade, the present timepiece last appeared on the market in 2010.
